Last year Jack and I welcomed a very special foal into our lives: Violita BTH.

Bred in the Netherlands by Bert ter Haar, Violita BTH is a beautifully refined young mare who immediately stood out to me for her presence, elegance, and natural balance.

Violita BTH is by the stallion Lantanas, and she comes from a dam line that is closely related to Koko. This makes her particularly exciting for me, as Koko is such a special horse to me. Horses from this line are known for their fantastic temperaments, rideability, type, and scope, which are qualities I value enormously. Having a young horse from similar lines is something I’m really looking forward to developing over time.

I am incredibly excited for her future and, in time, to bring her over and begin producing her under saddle. For now, the focus is simply on allowing her to grow and develop properly, but she is very much one I am looking forward to bringing along and producing for sport.

She is a very special addition, and I can’t wait to see how she develops over the coming years.
