Thrilled with Dutchy (Ji Alda) winning the Medium 73 at Somerford Park Premier League with 73.82% on Friday! This sweet mare has come on leaps and bounds, I’m so proud of her.

We threw her in the deep end with the Advanced Medium where she was also fantastic, the changes are still green at this stage with literally some leaps and bounds but it’s only early days and she scored 67.16% for 8th, so I’m super excited with what she can produce once we polish the changes! Our training with Gareth Hughes has been incredibly helpful with this lovely mare!

I was lucky to have my aunty Sharlene over from New Zealand who super groomed over the show and took some beautiful images of Dutchy. It was also lovely to have Dutchys owner Lucie Stokoe come up to support us! We’ve only been to Somerford Park for the Nationals and each and every time at this venue it runs well and is beautifully set up.
